Other cities of Pakistan (except Islamabad, which is totally
out of style) look like they've been intentionally designed for extreme driving
tests. Some of them have nothing particualrly interesting, others boast a few
old mosques, mausoleums, or shrines. There are also some interesting museums there.

For a foreigner, traveling in Pakistan is always
a bit of an adventure. Usually it is slow, but safe. Only some areas in the west
are a bit wild. |

Of all cities in Western Pakistan, Peshawar is
the largest, the noisiest, and the most colorful. |

Most of Balochistan Province in Southwestern Pakistan
is sparsely populated desert and dry mountains.

Despite small human population, deserts of Pakistan
have almost no large animals left. Only in nature reserves, such as Hazarganji-Chintal
Nat'l Park near Qwetta, can you still see them. |
