Adventure Travel

In most cases, when you read about "adventure travel", it means that you will be taken to some completely "touristic" place, like Costa Rica or Nepal, and that the only person to take any risk will be your guide. For me, "adventure" always means that there is nobody to take care of you, except for yourself. On the other hand, I don't consider it a good idea to risk my life just for the risk itself. Below is brief information on some interesting trips that required some real adventure, as well as endurance and a certain level of psychological stability.
Full list of my trips is here, I'll be glad to provide information about any of the locations listed in it.
